AERO bench, made by Sellex, is the product to be installed as Bench for the Chapel of San Jose's Funeral House

San Jose's Funeral House in Burgos (Spain) has chosen for its extension building AERO Bench of Sellex (designed by Lievore Altherr Molina ), as the Bench for the Chapel.

Sellex's long experience in the equipment of chapels, churches and funeral houses has determined the selection of the AERO Bench as Bench for the Chapel. Sellex has equipped countless chapels, churches and funeral houses with two seatings collections: AERO Bench and VACANTE Bench (designed by Enric Miralles ).

SAN JOSE's funeral house has extended its premises taking into consideration the changes that have taken place in the habits during the last years. With this purpose, they have built a next-to-door location that occupies a surface of 3.200 m2 with an investment of roundabout 3 million Euros. The new building which is connected to the original funeral house through a covered walkway, has a multi-faith room equipped with AERO bench.

The Architecture Studio led by Luis García Camarero and Antonio García Muñoz, was awarded by the College of Architects in Burgos for this project. This new building is a response to the needs arised from non-religious celebrations or other faiths. Therefore, the architects in charge of the project, Luis García Camarero y Antonio García Muñoz, have designed a large bright open space that can accommodate non-religious funeral or acts of other faiths by meeting with all viewpoints and ideologies when the time comes.

In this occasion, they have count on AERO Bench suitable as Chapel Bench and as Multi-foncional Seating Bench, which fussions an exquisite design with a cared ergonomy.
