Aromar Hotel: LA LITERAL facing the sea

23.07.2018 | Hospitality

 Aromar Hotel in Platja d

This summer, turists accommodated at Aromar Hotel in Platja d'Aro (Spain) will enjoy resting on LA LITERAL Bunk beds, designed by  Lievore Altherr Molina.

This hotel, sited by the beach in  Playa Grande, Platja d'Aro, has remained closed for  refurbishment  during a period and they have invested roundabout 4,5 million euros. Once the restauration has finished, the hotel has opened again its doors last june so as turists can enjoy the new premises this summer.

103 of the 154 bedrooms, have been renovated and in 22 of them LA LITERAL Bunk bed of Sellex,  has been installed. This folding bed system is often demanded as part of hotels equipment, youth hostels and residences. LA LITERAL provides not only comfort but space saving: they only take 30cm depth when they are closed.

Aromar offers different bedroooms categories (104 double rooms, 28 with panoramic views, 4 junior suites, 17 single and 25 apartments) all of them with  direct sea-sight balcony.

Avant-garde and tradition

Cristina Lloret and Xavier Vilagran, from Bow Design Studio and XC Architects, have leadered the renovation project.

The architects and designers team has provided the building with an essentialist architonic style which fuses the architecture and avant-garde design with the purest hotel tradition and sea-sight. And so, the bedrooms have been fully orientated towards the Mediterranean.

The renovation of this hotel is part of the refurbishement plan of Aromar Hotels & Restaurants Group.

We, at Sellex,  are proud and grateful to both, the hotel chain and the architects and interior designers team,  for trusting our LA LITERAL bunk beds series for the refurbishment of this site.
