Sana Myriad: Sophistication and comfort in a contemporary hotel

The FAST Table, designed by Carlos Tíscar for Sellex, has travelled to Lisbon to stay in one of the most charming hotels in Portugal, the Sana Myriad Hotel, on the banks of the Tajo River. In addition to magnificent views of the estuary, this hotel with 186 rooms, offers guests a light-filled interior through its huge glass panels.

Natural lighting that can be seen from the entrance. The welcome is given to us by a huge hall, which acts as a prelude to what we will find in the rest of the rooms. Already in the hall we can see some of our tables presiding over the space, although most have been distributed by the different multipurpose rooms that the hotel has for organizing events.

The interior design is in line with the architectural concept of the building, combining contemporary style, comfort and sophistication. Teresa Leonidas is responsible for the interior design of this hotel, which is made up of 150 luxury rooms, 26 Premium rooms and 10 suites, one of them presidential. All maintain a contemporary decor with bold colours and abundant light, and the spectacular views of the Tajo River estuary must be highlighted.

The hotel also has a Spa, with exclusive and personalized treatments, and a restaurant with a terrace, where we can enjoy the delicious dishes prepared by chef Frederic Breitenbucher. It is worth highlighting the common spaces, such as the hall and other multipurpose rooms, in which the same vivid colour palette is maintained as in the rest of the building.

At this point there is no doubt that Sana Myriad is a unique and innovative hotel that has redefined the concept of a luxury hotel and where leisure and business go hand in hand. It is an ideal place for those guests who visit Lisbon for pleasure, but at the same time it is perfectly prepared for those who travel for work. Hence, it has everything you need for holding events and congresses.

The Hotel Sana Myriad has 3 meeting rooms to which must be added the spaces of the Conference and Events Center that is adjacent to the building. This modern facility is connected to the hotel by an airlift and has 7 other meeting rooms and 5 boardrooms.

The FAST Table was chosen precisely to cover this line of business more focused on the organization of events, congresses or meetings. Carlos Tíscar's design has characteristics that make it an essential piece when talking about furniture for events. It is a removable table that, with a single frame and tops of different shapes and sizes, allows tables to be configured according to the needs of each moment. And all without any type of tool, since its assembly is very simple.

A total of 115 FAST Tables in black melamine have been installed, a neutral tone that, without stealing the limelight from the rest of the set, aligns with the sophisticated and contemporary style of the building, providing the desired comfort.
