Sellex will take part in Feria Hábitat Valencia

Lille, Mexico City, Taipei and Cape Town are some of the cities that have preceded Valencia as World Design Capital. The World Design Organisation (WOD), responsible for this prestigious appointment, highlighted the 'unique design culture' of the Spanish city, achieved thanks to the 'work of professional designers, architects, interior designers and illustrators'. They also highlighted the 'urban infrastructures that coexist harmoniously with the natural and built environment', making it an 'example of the effective and strategic use of design in public policy'.

The programme of Valencia World Design Capital 2022 includes a hundred events that encompass all the disciplines of design and revolve around axes such as environmental sustainability, innovation, diversity, equality and 'Mediterranean' identity.

Feria Hábitat Valencia

One of the key events and an unmissable date is the International Furniture and Lighting Exhibition, known as Feria Hábitat Valencia, which will be held from 20 to 23 September. After the last edition in 2019, it returns with the full regularisation of the major international exhibitions. For Daniel Marco, its director, it is going to be a 'unique and very special' event as it will be held for the first time together with the event specialising in kitchens, Espacio Cocina SICI, and the historic textile exhibition, Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar.

After more than 40 years dedicated to honest design furniture and having received, among other awards, the National Design Award of Spain in 2011, Sellex could not miss this edition. Thus, it will participate showing not only its most consolidated proposals, but also the new collections:

Sellex Novelties

It will also present the Blanco Roto 100/100. It is a new off-white colour that extends the palette of the Range 100/100, the most sustainable proposal of Sellex.
