Sellex in dialogue: sharing design at ADI Making Of… Euskadi Diseña

In October, Sellex participated with Jordi Pla in ADI Making Of… Euskadi Diseña, an event organised by ADI-FAD in collaboration with Cluster Habic and EIDE (Basque Design Association), where we reviewed the journey that led to the development of the NEST Chair. From the spark of inspiration in nature, through technical calculations, prototypes and the 0 series. Each step of the process showed the constant dialogue between those who imagine and those who manufacture, and the need to contribute something new, even when everything seems to have already been invented.

 We continue in Bogotá with architecture professionals

Now, this dialogue moves to Bogotá, where Sellex will participate in a meeting with architecture and design professionals on Tuesday, 25 November. The day will begin with a presentation of the companies and a talk by renowned Colombian architect Daniel Bonilla (TAB, Bogotá architecture workshop), whose career is notable for its balance between the collective, flexibility and spatial quality; we have already had the opportunity to collaborate with him on the Compensar Suba project in Bogotá. In the afternoon, a networking session will allow the exchange of ideas to continue.

Although geographically distant, these events share the same philosophy: a way of conceiving honest design as a living process, based on constant dialogue with professionals and the environment, which translates into versatile, functional and timeless furniture.
