Folding Bunk Bed

The AXYS Folding Bunk Bed is designed to maximise the use of space while providing a high level of comfort. Thanks to its innovative folding system, the weight of the structure and its users is transferred to the floor, allowing it to be installed even in spaces with walls of lower load-bearing capacity.

Available for 190 × 90 cm and 200 × 90 cm mattresses, the AXYS Folding Bunk Bed comes as standard with a safety bar and ladder. It also incorporates a safety latch, together with magnetic catches and gas struts that ensure a smooth, controlled descent. In addition, it can be configured with side covers and complemented with electrification and lighting.

Technical data

Metal frame comprising wall fixing profiles and a movable rectangular-section profile of 50 × 30 × 1.5 mm, and a bed frame made from rectangular-section steel profiles of 50 × 30 × 1.5 mm.

Front panel / mattress support: chipboard 16 mm thick in melamine.

Gas struts for opening and closing.

Magnetic catch.

Automatic safety latch.

Integrated mattress retainer and safety bar.

Independent ladder.

Optional side covers: chipboard 10 mm thick in melamine.

Can be installed on all types of walls, including plasterboard walls. For safe and correct operation, the bed must be securely fixed to the wall.

Note: The fixing hardware supplied is suitable for hollow brick walls. When installing on other wall types, appropriate fixings must be used.
