Versatility and design for collaborative work at Design District CPH
16.03.2026 | Offices
New working environments call for spaces capable of adapting to different forms of collaboration, meeting and creativity.
In this context, furniture plays a key role in collaborative spaces, providing versatile solutions that allow flexible and dynamic environments to be configured.
Design District CPH, in Copenhagen, is a clear example of this new way of working. In this coworking and co-showroom dedicated to design, different Sellex product families — SLAM, MASS, LISE, NEST, HANDY, TOOL and FAST — coexist to help create a functional environment designed to encourage the exchange of ideas among professionals in the sector.
A space for the design community
Located in the Vanløse district of Copenhagen (Denmark), Design District CPH emerges as the evolution of the well-known Interior Post CPH, conceived as a meeting point for designers, architects, brands and professionals connected to the world of design and interior architecture.
The centre is conceived as a creative ecosystem where collaboration and inspiration form part of everyday activity. Its hybrid model of coworking and shared showroom allows different companies and professionals to work, present their products and generate new opportunities for collaboration within the same environment.
The space offers open work areas, meeting and presentation rooms equipped with audiovisual tools, communal areas and a shared kitchen. In addition, a regular programme of events, gatherings and activities encourages interaction between the various brands and professionals who form part of this community.
Within this dynamic setting, furniture must respond to multiple uses: from informal meetings and presentations to individual work or spontaneous encounters between teams.
Versatile furniture for collaborative environments
The different Sellex product families present at Design District CPH help respond to these needs, providing solutions conceived for collaborative and multifunctional spaces.
SLAM, MASS and LISE Chairs offer comfortable and versatile seating that integrates easily into both work areas and meeting or presentation spaces. Their functional design allows them to be used in different contexts within the space while maintaining a coherent and contemporary aesthetic.
Meanwhile, the NEST Chair with Pyramidal Base on 4 Castors facilitates mobility and the quick reconfiguration of spaces, something particularly valuable in coworking environments where layouts frequently change.
The HANDY Stool provides a lightweight and flexible solution for informal gatherings or support areas, while the TOOL family — including folding tables, meeting tables, lecterns and whiteboards — allows work, training or presentation spaces to be configured according to the needs of each moment.
Finally, the FAST Table with B frame completes the equipment by providing work surfaces for meetings or collaborative activities.
The combination of all these pieces demonstrates how versatile furniture can contribute to creating open working environments that encourage creativity and collaboration.
