The Cave Art Centre and the versatility of Sellex furniture

The building organizes its functions into three main blocks: reception and services area, exhibition area and restricted area, all of them connected around a central patio that acts as a distribution axis. This patio, in addition to uniting the different volumes, reinforces the visual and functional connection of the building with its natural environment.

A multipurpose space with functional furniture

One of the most notable areas of the centre is its multipurpose room, designed to adapt to multiple uses, from presentations and cultural events to small conferences. From the beginning, flexibility was a key criterion in its design, and Sellex has played a fundamental role in providing furniture that meets these demands.

To equip the room, 92 SLAM Basic Chairs with Steel Arms, black frame and matching polypropylene seat have been installed. The SLAM Chair, chosen as the main piece for furnishing the room, stands out for its versatility and ease of storage. Its design allows a large number of chairs to be stacked, maximizing the available space. They were looking for a model with armrests that was functional and versatile; furthermore, its minimalist aesthetic and comfort fit perfectly with the contemporary and practical atmosphere of the Cave Art Center.

The multipurpose room has, along with the SLAM Chairs, six 180x80 cm FAST Tables in black and grey melamine. FAST Tables are easy to fold and store, making them a practical and adaptable solution for organizing events in this room. Its design allows them to be quickly transformed according to the needs of the moment, adding a dimension of flexibility that is essential in such a dynamic space.

Furniture that enhances versatility

The installed furniture is complemented by a SLAM Chair trolley, a FAST Table trolley and two courtesy panels, facilitating mobility and efficient storage. So the combination of the SLAM Chairs and the FAST Tables has given the room a level of functionality and practicality that meets the highest expectations. The possibility of quickly reorganizing the space allows the room to adapt to various event formats, from conferences to workshops or stage presentations, making it an example of how the right furniture can enhance the versatility and use of a space.

To complete the set, the elevating platform provides additional versatility to the room, facilitating its use in presentations, shows and any activity that requires a specific stage configuration.

Since its inauguration, the multipurpose room has been constantly used for events of various kinds, consolidating itself as an essential space within the Cave Art Center. Thanks to the selection of versatile and quality furniture, the centre has achieved a perfect balance between functionality, design and adaptability.
