IMED Colón Hospital, a design focused on well-being

A total of 70 SLAM Soft Benches with 2, 3 and 4 seaters, some with integrated tables, have been installed. The furnishing is completed with several SQUARE Benches arranged in the following configuration: 2 seaters + table + 2 seaters, creating a space that combines design, comfort and functionality, always centred on promoting well-being.

According to Abraham Molina, Marketing Director at IMED Hospitals, the furniture selection is the result of a very clear vision. As he explains, both interior design and the quality of the facilities are “fundamental pillars” in all their projects. “We choose the best suppliers and the best solutions to ensure we offer our patients the best possible experience throughout their stay in our hospital facilities,” Abraham adds.

The interior design project was led by the studio Manuel García Asociados, which has worked on other centres within the IMED group. Their proposal maintains a modern and minimalist aesthetic, where spaces are designed with the comfort and well-being of the patient in mind. This vision is reflected in the choice of SLAM Soft Benches as seating for the hospital’s waiting rooms, whose elegant and modular design allows for flexible and welcoming arrangements.

A hospital in the heart of Valencia

IMED Colón is located on Isabel La Católica Street, between the Colón Market and the street of the same name. The hospital covers an area of 12,000 m2, distributed in a basement, ground floor and three floors for outpatient consultations, as well as four floors for hospitalisation. The facilities include 32 rooms (5 of them suites), a surgical block with 5 operating theatres and a post-operative recovery unit.

The centre also offers diagnostic imaging, clinical analysis and physiotherapy services, all aimed at ensuring an outstanding patient experience. The design of the hospital not only responds to functional criteria, but also integrates harmoniously into the urban environment of Valencia, reinforcing its model of a hospital of proximity.
