The Chapel of St. Catherine of Siena's New Monastery in Paterna, (Spain) has been equipped with VACANTE Bench
24.02.2016 | Funeral Homes

The new Monastery of St. Catherine of Siena, has been built next to the old monastery in which these Dominican nuns of Paterna used to live and that after they moved, it was demolished.
The new building, modern and functional, collects all the needs of the congregation and adapts to the daily life of these nuns. It has been projected by Architec Pedro Hernández and includes our VACANTE Bench (by Enric Miralles) in the chapel of the monastery.
The language used for the construction of the assembly seeks simplicity and purity of forms, straight lines and white colour has preference both indoor and outdoors, forming a pure and clean facility in which new furniture combines with that belonging to the congregation, with some pieces dating from the fifteenth century.
