Chromatic harmony in the Tooth Doc Dental Clinic

Hague Dental Supplies, specialists in redesigning and refurbishing dental practices and leaders of this project, know a lot about that. In search of these positive sensations, for the main waiting room of the dental practice they have opted for a mural that evokes the Japanese technique of kakemono, combining perfectly with the rest of the furniture. 

The NEST Basic Chair was chosen to equip this waiting area in the colours that best matched the mural: Camel, White and Musgo.  

But the decision to choose the NEST Chair as the waiting chair for the clinic goes far beyond the colour. According to Kirsty Hague, Interiors Director at Hague Dental Supplies, they were looking for a chair that would not only fit in with the style of the practice, but would also be strong and durable, and “the NEST Chair’s material in polypropylene and a metal leg made it a good option” she says. 

NEST is a waiting chair well suited to clinics, hospitals and practices because of its intelligent backrest that can adapt to any user's back. Thanks to the enveloping and gathered design of its shell, the sensation it gives is that of being in a ‘nest’, offering optimum comfort. This makes it a completely comfortable seat for patients waiting to be seen. 

Likewise, the armrests of the NEST Chair and the height of the seat itself make it a perfect chair for elderly patients or those with reduced mobility. 

Repeating synergies 

This is not the first time that we at Sellex have worked hand in hand with Hague Dental Supplies. We have already done so with the Hove Dental Clinic, located on the south coast of England. On this occasion, the SLAM Soft Beam was the one in charge of presiding over the waiting areas of this medical facility in which colour also takes on a certain prominence. Without a doubt, the clinic breathes the essence of Hague Dental Supplies and our waiting bench blends in perfectly with the space, thanks to the turquoise, warm grey and deep pink upholstery of the seats. 

The clinic management was very happy with the result, and the same is true of Tooth Doc Dental Clinic, where they say they love ‘the overall look and finish’ and that the colour scheme and design is successful. “Everyone who’s visited the practice thinks it looks great and we get so many compliments”, they say.
