Transpower headquarters in Wellington furnished with SLAM Chairs and FLY Tables
Transpower, owner and operator of high voltage transmission network in New Zeland, has furnished its new headquarters in Wellington (New Zeland) with series SLAM and FLY (designed by Lievore Altherrr Molina).
750 employees work currently at Transpower and the Company was seeking for a kind of different furniture to equip its facilities. They didn’t want the traditional office environment but to create a collaborative working space. So, they made a choice on SLAM Chair and FLY Table, two designs of Lievore Altherr Molina that provide warmth, innovation and a light appearance to the meeting areas, as it was required.
Both designs, SLAM Chair and FLY Table, fit properly as office furniture thanks to its ergonomics condition in workspaces.
On one side, FLY Table, not only meets the ergonomic requirements that a working table should have but also combines a sober and smart design to perfection within an space expected to be operative, as offices are. Here, a rectangular top in White MDF has been the choice.

On the other side, SLAM series is ideal for work, as the possibility to combine several shells and frames with the same aesthetic, enable us to count on one model chair for each corporative space. This time, the version selected has been SLAM chair on castors and polypropylene shell.
SELLEX in Oceania
Far from being the first time we are involved in projects in New Zeland, we have also placed our product at WINTEC Technologic Institute who chose VALERI lounge chairs to equip some zones.
Our presence is also significant in other parts of Oceania, specially in Australia, where we will be able to find VACANTE Bench installed rightaway when landing at the airport. Hervery Bay Airport projected with VACANTE Bench which is currently the seating in the waiting areas.
LA LITERAL bunk beds program will also welcome those tourists arriving in Australia and having booked at Ramada Pier Hotel, in the city of Glenelg.
If we decide to travel to Sidney, BILDU Beam seating will be found at Family Law Court. And of course, we could not miss our most international product, AERO Bench, installed at Westfield Tea Tree (Adelaide) and Macquaire (North Ryde) Shopping Centers.
A bit of a trip through Oceania which we hope will continue.
